Details

Thames CG requested the lifeboat launch to assist a sailing dinghy in difficulties a mile off Preston Parade, Seasalter.

The lifeboat arrived alongside to find the dinghy, with two occupants aboard, had a snapped mast. It was taken in tow back to Whitstable Yacht Club.
