The lifeboat was launched to an inflatable dinghy broken down and drifting off Faversham Creek. It was found aground on the mud at Harty Ferry. It's occupant was brought aboard the lifeboat, the dinghy taken in tow, and landed ashore. Another man, stranded on a moored fishing boat who the dinghy was due to collect, was also brought ashore.
