Details

Thames CG requested the lifeboat to launch to standby a car on the causeway at Harty Ferry. There was concern for the safety of the occupant, who appeared to be in a distressed state. 

Eventually, units ashore persuaded the man to leave the vehicle, and the lifeboat returned to station.
