Details

 Whitstable  lifeboat, along with Sheppey Coastguard,  RAF Rescue Helicopter 125 and Kent Police investigated a report of a red flare believed to have come from a craft aground at the eastern end of the Isle of Sheppey. A thorough search of the area was conducted with nothing untoward found.
