Details

The lifeboat launched to assist two men in an inflatable dinghy being blown seawards by a fresh offshore breeze half a mile north of Hampton Pier.

The dinghy and its occupants were brought aboard the lifeboat, and landed ashore into the care of Herne Bay Mobile Coastguard unit.
