The lifeboat was launched to assist a capsized canoe 100 yards off Daniel's Court, Whitstable. When the lifeboat arrived on scene the occupant and her dog had already been landed ashore by a passing dinghy. Having checked that the woman did not need any medical attention, the lifeboat brought the canoe ashore.
