Thames CG requested the lifeboat to launch following a report of a vessel drifting in the Swale.

The lifeboat found fishing vessel Vigilant adrift off Shellness, with no one on board,  apparently after having broken its mooring. 

The craft was taken in tow, and secured alongside in Whitstable Harbour.
