Details

The lifeboat was called to assist a crewman on a commercial fishing vessel who had been taken ill and suffered a minor head injury.

The lifeboat located the fishing vessel three miles off Hampton and after assessing the casualty and administering oxygen the lifeboat crew transferred him to the lifeboat and brought him ashore at the boathouse where he was able to walk to an ambulance, that took him to Kent and Canterbury Hospital for a precautionary check up.
