The lifeboat launched to a capsized sailing dinghy off the Neptune pub, Whitstable.

On arrival the dinghy was found to be totally inverted.  The mast was broken, having dug into the seabed when the boat capsized. Two people were in the water next t the dinghy, one of whom had swum out to help.

Both people were brought aboard the lifeboat, the dinghy was righted, and then taken in tow back to the beach.
