Details

The lifeboat was launched to a 14' Fletcher speedboat with 4 p.o.b. broken down and drifting out to sea half a mile off Studd Hill, between Whitstable and Hampton.

The lifeboat took the speedboat under tow for the launching ramp at Studd Hill.
