Details

The lifeboat launched to a report of a dismasted catamaran with two people on board off the Long Beach, Whitstable.

The lifeboat arrived on scene thirty seconds later to find the craft 5 yards off the beach, being paddled ashore.

After seeing the catamaran safely beached, the lifeboat returned to station.
