Thames CG requested the lifeboat to launch to a broken down jet ski off Neptune Jetty, Herne Bay.

The lifeboat arrived to find the jet ski had drifted ashore near The Ship pub, with the occupant trying to walk it back along the beach to Neptune Jetty. He was brought aboard the lifeboat, and the jet ski taken in tow.

Both were subsequently landed ashore at Herne Bay harbour.
