Thames Coastguard requested the lifeboat to launch following a report of a 5.3m motor cruiser broken down south of the windfarm, approximately five miles from Whitstable.

The lifeboat took the craft under tow for Whitstable Harbour, where it was moored alongside, and met by Herne Bay Coastguard.
