The lifeboat launched to assist a "Topper" class sailing dinghy, with one occupant in the water, which had capsized and was drifting parallel to the shore 200 yards off the Neptune Pub, Whitstable. The dinghy had been on its side for some time, with the occupant unable to right it.

When the lifeboat arrived the dinghy  was on the beach near Daniel's Court. The lifeboat crew confirmed that all was well, with no medical assistance required, before returning to station.
