Shortly after returning from the previous call, Thames Coastguard requested the lifeboat to re-launch following a report of a jetski with no one on board drifting off the beach at Faversham Road, Seasalter.

However, about two minutes after launching, the lifeboat was stood down, as the first informant had reported that the craft was in fact moored to a buoy, and was not drifting after all.
