Details The lifeboat launched to recover a dinghy adrift off the Long Beach, Whitstable. Members of the public had seen some youths push the dinghy off the beach, and it was known that no one had been aboard. The lifeboat found the dinghy semi-submerged 400 yards offshore. It was taken under tow, and landed ashore at the harbour launching ramp.
