Details The lifeboat launched to assist a 25' motor cruiser, with one person on board, which had suffered engine failure off Reculver. The lifeboat located the casualty half a mile SW of the East Last Buoy. A tow was connected, and the craft taken to Herne Bay Harbour, from where it had set out earlier on passage to Sandwich.
