Details The lifeboat launched to assist an inflatable dinghy reported to be in difficulties 200 yards off Leysdown, Isle of Sheppey. On arrival the dinghy was found 50 yards off the main beach, in 2ft of water. A crewman waded ashore to speak to the occupant, who confirmed all was OK, and no assistance was required. The lifeboat therefore returned to station.
