Details The lifeboat launched to assist a 17' angling boat Erin II broken down with a flat battery near the East Last Buoy, 2 miles off Reculver. The lifeboat took the craft, which had three people on board, under tow and landed it ashore at the launching ramp in Herne Bay harbour, where it was met by members of Herne Bay Coastguard team.
