Shortly after returning from the previous call, Thames Coastguard contacted the boathouse to request that the lifeboat launch to a report of a person in the water off the Seaview Caravan Park, Swalecliffe.

On arrival the causalty had already been picked up by a jet skier, and was now sitting on the jetski near the bottom of the launching ramp.

Lifeboat crew members helped her up the ramp, and passed her into the care of ambulance personnel and Herne Bay Coastguard officers.
